About Natalia Cuadrado
Natalia Cuadrado is a graphic designer and art director who shows special interest for typography and photography.

Graduated in Design Studies in 1995 at the Escuela Superior de Diseño Elisava from Barcelona, after 18 years of professional experience she has obtained the BA in Design by the Winchester School of art (Southampton University). Her final degree project was focused in the research of 2.0 photography for brand identity in the new social networks.

During her 18 years of professional experience, Natalia dedicated her first 12 years of career working for some of the best graphic designers of Barcelona, such as Enric Aguilera (Enric Aguilera Asociados), Salvatore Adduci and Pablo Martín (Gráfica), and she has also collaborated during more than 10 years with Mario Eskenazi, who encouraged her professionally, inspired her in the design research, and transmitted her his passion and joy for graphic design. Natalia has also worked on an international level for the Benetton Company, creating different campaigns in the brand’s headquarters in Italy.

In 2006 she created her own graphic design studio and initiated collaborations with professionals from other disciplines, in order to embrace projects from a transversal and creative perspective, giving special importance to researchin the typographical field, as well as in photography art direction. Her experience is focused on editorial design (books, magazines, etc.); brand identity for small and big companies and institutions, as well as identity design for different events and exhibitions; fashion graphic design (campaigns, catalogues, events…); and in the last years she has been specially involved in design for music and theatre projects. During her career she has also worked with all kind of formats, from posters, websites, packaging, advertising campaigns, and much more. Natalia’s work has been well recognised through professional awards and it has been published in different books and reviews.

Her interest for the research and study of design approached her to the academic field, teaching in different colleges and universities, such as BAU, Centro Universitario de Diseño, IDEP, Centro de Estudios de Diseño, ELISAVA, Centro Universitario de Diseño and Universitat Ramon Llull, among others.
